The Basics
Thieving is the art of, well, thieving, whether it is pickpocketing from NPC's, stealing from chests, or gathering artifacts from the Pyramid Plunder mini-game.
To start thieving off, you can only pickpocket men, start with this and progress on the thieving skill. I will explain more as the guide goes on.
Pyramid Plunder
This is a mini-game that requires Itchlarin's Little Helper started, you don't have to finish it.
Once you've started it, to start off the mini-game, you need to thieve the doors of the temple that is located in Sophanem. Inside one of four doors will be a mummy, which you can right-click on to start the mini-game.
This mini-game has a 5 minute time limit to get as much exp as you can.
Once inside, thieve the traps on the walls to get into your first room. Inside the room is a gold chest which is located in the middle, a sarchophagus and lots of urns.
How to Play for the best exp
To play for the best exp, this is what you need to do:
First off, find the mummy which is in one of the doors leading in to the temple.
Once you've found it, right-click on it and select "Start mini-game" to start Pyramid Plunder.
Inside Pyramid Plunder, you can get all sorts of different loot.
You can get:
Clay loot, pottery loot, stone loot, gold loot and also a pharoah's sceptre (rare).
Ok, once inside the mini-game, thieve the traps on the walls to get into your first room, once inside the room, thieve the gold chest in the middle of the room (be aware, scarab swarm's can come out of these which poison you and cause a considerable amount of damage). Once you've thieved the chest in the middle, picklock the doors in the room to get into your next room.
Do that until you are in the second to last room you can go in, once in your second to last room, thieve the gold chest in the middle as normal. Once you've done that, check each of the urns for snakes, then picklock the doors to get into your last room.
Inside your last room, thieve the gold chest in the middle as normal, check each of the urns for snakes again, also after you've checked them for snakes, search them aswell.
If you have time left over, you can open the sarchophagus but this gives strength exp and no thieving exp.
