Introduction

Tutorial Island it the first place you go to when you register an account.It is the basics of RuneScape.


Choosing your character

Choose your character based on your likings, gender, or even yourself!


Talking to the Guide Master

Talk to the Guide Master and he will fill you in on all the basic informations. After you have finished, you may proceed to the next section.


The Survival Expert


After talking to the Survival Expert, you will recieve a bronze woodcutting axe and a tinderbox.


Once you have gotten a log, use the log with the tinderbox to create a fire.


Talk to the Survival Expert once you have completed making a fire. You will recieve a net. Go and use the net on the water. You will then start to fish shrimps.


Fish until you have atleast one shrimp in your inventory.


Cook the shrimp on a fire, the shrimp will either be cooked [orange] or burnt [black].

You may now proceed to the next section.[/center]


The Master Chef

Talk to the Master Chef to learn the basics of cooking. You will also recieve a pot of flour and a bucket of water.


Use the pot of flour on the bucket of water to make a bread dough. Use the bread dough on the cooking range.


The result will either be a cooked dough or a burnt dough [black].


The Quest Guide


Talk to the Quest Guide and he will teach you about quests.


The Mining Instructor


Talk to the mining instructor to learn about mining. You will then be asked to prospect both rocks on the left and on the right.


The gray rock contains tin, and the yellow rock contains copper. You will then recieve a bronze mining pick. Mine both rock on the left and the right atleast once. Use one of the ores on the furnace to the south. Once you have smelt a bronze bar, talk to the Mining Instructor again to get a hammer.


Use the hammer on the anvil to make a bronze dagger. Once you've completed making a dagger, you've completed this section.


The Combat Instructor


Talk to the combat instructor and wield your bronze dagger. Then you will recieve a bronze longsword and a wooden shield.


Defeat one of the giant rats and go back to the instructor to recieve a short bow and 50 bronze arrows.

The Banker


Talk to the banker to access your bank account.


There are already 25 gold pieces (GP) in there for you to use.


The Financial Advisor


Talk to the Financial Advisor for financiall help. He teaches you ways of making money in RuneScape.


Brother Brace


Talk to Brother Brace and recieve the prayer icon. You will then talk to Brother Brace, and he will tell you about things you should avoid doing in RuneScape.


The Magic Instructor

Talk to the Magic Instructor to recieve the magic icon. Then you will be given 5 air runes and 5 mind runes. Use Fire Strike on the chickens.


After you have defeated the chickens, you are now ready to be teleported to the real world! Lumbridge, be careful as there is many scammers out there. Check out the scamming guide to decrease your chance of being scammed.

Q: Can you ever die in Tutorial Island?
A: No, you can never die in Tutorial Island.

Q: Will you be able to go back to Tutorial Island once you depart for Lumbridge?
A: No there is no way that you can go back to Tutorial Island once you are teleported to Lumbridge.

Q: Q: What is the highest you can get all your levels?
A: Three, but only on the ones you are taught how to use.
