It takes a dedicated team of hard working individual to keep RSR running, however it takes an entire community to make RSR great. This page is a tribute to all those who have worked so hard to make RSR what it is today! You may also view a list of the RSR Stars, an elite group of those who have written guides for the site.

Icedearth15324

Joined RSR on June 20, 2004 and became a moderator in October 2004. After serving as a regular moderator for a few months he became a global moderator in March 2005. He then moved on to helping RSR behind the scenes as it transitioned to a new server and database, thus giving him the title of RSR Administrator. After working on the site he became the Head RSR Administrator shortly after GR came into being. As GR grew, he continued going up in the ranks until November 2007 when he was given the title of Network Administrator, making him third in charge. It didn't stop there however, in April 2008 he was given full control over the site while Duke had some personal things to deal with. Leaving him in charge as the Head Administrator, and second in charge.

Hockeyav

Hockeyav has been with RSR since before RuneScape Realm was around. He helped contribute to RSR predecessor site KSCR (Knights of the Starcraft Realm), and joined the RSR forums upon opening. He has never been incredibly active, but has continued to stay with the site often lurking, and behind the scenes. Most regular users will never see him, and the staff rarely does either, but he is still here. Hockeyav was also the person to introduce Duke Atreide to RuneScape in the first place.

Handmedown

Joined RSR on November 25th, 2004 and became a staff member in January 2005. After writing several guides for RSR was promoted to a moderator position in October 2005. He then moved on to help RSR transform into GR by founding Realm of the Ages. He has now returned to RuneScape once again and is the now the chief GR content administrator.

Archasgame5

A former writer for RuneHQ, Archasgame5 joined RunescapeRealm in September of 2004. He became a moderator later that month, eventually a Global Moderator, and finally reached administrator status, overseeing the RSR boards. Archas is responsible for the creation of the Runescape Classic forums, the Runescape History Guide, the RS Classic Tribute Video, the annual RSR Summer Drop Party, and RSR Events. Archasgame5 also created the RSR Hall of Fame Initiative, which features the Skill Cape Gallery and the Achievement of the Month contests.



Global Moderators

Simba

Fascinated with wolves and large cats, Simba joined RSR in December of 2005 and was promoted to Global Moderator sometime during 2007. He has over 2200 total leve on RuneScape and is ranked #1 on the overall highscores for RSR. Simba has many 99s including smithing, which happens to be his favorite of all skills. He is a player moderator ingame and enjoys rawring and sending everybody a '^_^'.

sickmate

Joined RSR on October 28th 2004, became an editor on February 19th 2007. Started playing Runescape the day he joined RSR, and although he's had little breaks from it, still manages to play with a vengeance. Has been a Player Moderator in Runescape since May 2006, and loves skilling and quests, so you'll always see him working on the newest quests!

wayn0

Wayn0 has been a member since November 2004 and became a moderator on 27th March 2005 after a short period filling a unique rank called 'rsr contributor' which eventually became 'HoL', this rank was given mainly for the creation of the price guide. He has written a number of guides for RSR, the largest of which, as already mentioned, is the price guide. He became a global moderator on 1st September 2005. His favorite skill in runescape is cooking, where he is ranked in the top 100, he has played runescape since February 2002.

Moderators

Jimbob219

Joined on February 26th 2006, became an editor on February 19th 2007. Enjoys playing Runescape, going on holiday and chatting with friends. He focuses his time on RuneScape twoards his five best skills; 99 Cooking, 95 Fishing, 91 Mining, 90 Woodcutting, and 90 Fletching. Jimbob is currently working hard towards his goal of 99 Mining ! He mostly focuses his work on the RSR Skill Guides section.

BloodFire

BloodFire began playing runescape in January of 05. Joined RSR January 31st. Became an editor on the 13th of March 2007 and finally achieved Moderator on April 23rd 2008. Highest skill is 99 cooking. Has made a few guides in the past (Barbarian Village + Dwarven Mines). Will most likely be working on location guides and/or quest guides.

Thekiller

Thekiller joined RSR on April 24th 2005. Became HoL on March 4th 2006 and finally became moderator September 4th 2006. he quit playing RuneScape around the same time of his modship on RSR. He left his account behind with a highest skill of 94 magic.

Senior Editors

Maikel joined RuneScapeRealm November 17th 2004, was promoted to RSR Editor April 13th 2007, and finally RSR Senior Editor on November 19th 2007. He has had many different breaks and many different accounts on RuneScape but is now currently retired from the game. However, he is not retired from GR, where he tries to help out as much as he can.

hmgbking

Joined on March 16th 2005, and became an editor on February 19th 2007. He enjoys skilling and has 99 smithing with farming on the way. He is excited about being a part of the RSR editing crew and you can see his work all around the site.

Reamer

Reamer has been a member of RSR since February 6th, 2007, but has had former relations with the site; he was made editor on April 13th, 2007. He has played RuneScape since December of 2003 and has very extensive knowledge of the game. Reamer is very skilled in html and creating tables and such. In his free time, Reamer likes to ride quads, play many sports including basketball, track, and football, work with his hands, mainly on cars, and do some graphics and design work. He is also going to school currently hopefully to become a Disney Imagineer.



Editors

Chaise91

Chaise91 joined RuneScapeRealm June 7th, 2006, and was promoted to RSR Editor April 23rd, 2008. He enjoys skills such as woodcutting, and fishing, which he has 99 in. Chaise is fairly well disciplined due to his time in AFJROTC and sometimes plays by the book a little too much. He created the Piscatoris Fishing Colony guide and has edited some guides such as the RuneCrafting Skill guide, and has made smaller changes to more parts of the site. Chaise currently goes to High School and plans on joining the United States Air Force afterwards.

destroyer_ha

Destroyer_ha joined RSR back in February of 2005 and was promoted to RSR Editor on April 23rd, 2008. He enjoys writing random guides and his biggest accomplishment has been writing the guide for Recipe for Disaster.

Burnzie27

Speaks several languages, sadly HTML isn't one of those, but I try to understand it anyway. Maps a lot of places in RuneScape, and makes random guides; is determined to revive the monster database some day. Likes to waste time, dislikes making stupid mistakes.

UndeadBovine

UndeadBovine joined RSR in December 2005, he doesn't remember how he found it. UndeadBovine has been playing RS on and off since April 2001(3 months after release) He dislikes PvP and Quests, but enjoys levelling any skill besides Agility. He became an Editor on the 24th of April 2008. He looks to add some new quest guides to the RSR Quest Guide section as he has many which he should have done a long time ago.
