Instructions:
- Speak to Kaqemeex at the stone circle north of Taverly and he'll give you a semi lengthy explanation of current events. Just know he needs you to help them purify their cursed altar south of Varrock (don't worry, you wont need to visit this altar).
- Go south and find Sanfew, he is located on the second floor of the Herblore shop. He tells you he needs 4 uncooked meats (bear, chicken, rat, beef) dipped into the cauldron of thunder in order to purify their altar.
- Once you have the meats (or if you already have them) go south of the shop into an area of dead trees. There should be a ladder which leads underground (the usual red exclamation point will designate it on your map). Go down the ladder into the Taverly Dungeon.
- Walk a few paces north until there is an iron gate on your right. There will be 2 suits of armour next to it. Try to open the door and they come alive, you can stay and fight them or simply keep opening the gates and go through (they wont follow you in). The cauldron is right inside that room.
- Use the meats on the cauldron (they'll turn blue) and return to Sanfew.
- After giving the meats to Sanfew, return to Kaqemeex for your reward and a basic introduction to the Herblore skill.
